Project overview
Interior fitout completed for Dhursan Construction’s Oran Park office, featuring glazed partitions, reception wall, and acoustic-ready layout.
Client Brief
Dhursan Construction engaged DY Constructions to complete a detailed office partitioning project at their Oran Park premises. The scope of works involved the supply and installation of new office partitions, including a curved reception wall, aluminium framed glass doors (hinged and sliding), and supportive structures for wall-hung displays. DY also supplied and installed plasterboard walls with aqua-check for wet areas, safety strips for glazing, and progress cleaning throughout. A number of optional finishes, such as DecoPanel and Expresswood panelling, were also proposed for visual enhancement of the reception area.
Challenges
A key consideration was delivering a premium partitioning solution while navigating existing structural elements and ensuring full compliance with BCA and accessibility standards. Additional care was required around the curved reception wall, as well as coordinating design sign-off with the client.
The Solution
DY implemented a custom curved partition system using specialised curved steel tracks and framing to meet aesthetic goals while ensuring stability. To meet acoustic needs, options for plasterboard upgrades and insulation were proposed. All works were scheduled with minimal disruption, and full WHS protocols and quality control inspections were carried out throughout.
The Result
The project was completed to a high standard, with the client receiving a clean, modern workspace defined by sharp black-framed glass and clean plasterboard finishes. The new reception wall and internal partitioning enhanced both functionality and presentation, with all works delivered within budget and ready for occupation.
