Class 8 Building Approval and Certification

Class 8 is a building classification under the National Construction Code (NCC) and Building Code of Australia (BCA). These are buildings and spaces which are used mainly as factories or laboratories where items are produced, assembled, packed, etc. They are process type buildings where a process or handicraft is carried out for trade, sale or gain. Production, assembly, and food processing buildings are classified as Class 8 Buildings.
