Office and Workshop Reconfiguration with New Amenities for ManuFlo’s Brookvale Premises.

Client Brief

ManuFlo engaged DY Constructions Australia to refurbish and upgrade their combined office and workshop facility in Brookvale. The client required reconfiguration works to better separate the operational workshop from the front office environment, while also improving finishes, accessibility, and overall functionality. The scope included new partition walls, aluminium windows, a disabled-compliant bathroom, kitchenette upgrades, flooring works, and various electrical and hydraulic modifications.

Challenges

As the site remained operational during the works, care was taken to avoid disruption to day-to-day business. Tight site access and integration of new works into the existing building also required close coordination across trades.

The Solution

DY staged the works in a way that minimised impact on ManuFlo’s staff, carefully managing noise and dust during operating hours. Site meetings and sequencing were used to streamline access and reduce construction delays.

The Result

The result was a significantly improved workspace that aligned with the client’s operational needs. The front office area was modernised, the workshop better contained, and new compliant amenities installed. The client was pleased with the transformation and the seamless delivery of works.

Scope of Works

  • Partition & Door Installation – Construction of new plasterboard walls to create office and admin spaces, including installation of aluminium-framed glazed sliding doors.

  • Joinery & Workstations – Supply and installation of custom joinery, including workstation desks and built-in cabinetry as per layout.

  • Mechanical Works – Adjustment of existing air conditioning outlets to suit new room configuration, including supply and installation of a new exhaust fan in designated areas.

  • Electrical Works – Installation of power points, switches, and lighting fixtures as required to suit the new fitout layout.

  • Site Preparation & WHS – Provision of floor protection, site establishment, and WHS signage to ensure safety and compliance throughout the duration of works.

  • Cleaning & Handover – Progress cleaning during works and a final detailed clean prior to handover, including removal of construction debris and waste.

  • Project Management – Full coordination of trades, timeline management, and quality assurance across all stages of the fitout.
