Client Brief
NMDC Limited engaged DY Constructions Australia to deliver a new commercial office fitout within their Sydney CBD tenancy. The brief included new partitioned workspaces, glazed offices, privacy film, commercial furniture, feature finishes, essential services, and approval coordination to create a professional and functional workplace environment.
Challenges
The project required council approval and close coordination with the building manager, landlord, and private certifier before works could commence. As the tenancy was located within a CBD commercial building, limited onsite parking and controlled lift access also created logistical challenges for deliveries, trades, and material movement.
The Solution
DY coordinated the approval process, including drawings, CDC documentation, fire design requirements, and communication with the relevant project stakeholders. Site logistics were carefully managed through planned deliveries, lift protection, floor protection, and organised CBD parking arrangements for trades where building parking was unavailable.
The Result
The completed fitout delivered a modern and professional office environment for NMDC Limited, featuring new partitions, glazed offices, privacy treatments, commercial furniture, feature finishes, and coordinated services. The project was completed with careful approval management, building coordination, and quality-controlled handover.
